During a three-week residency at Ferme Granite 1981, Studio Rat explored new approaches to working with waste plastics, shifting toward wind-driven, low-tech mechanisms shaped by the farm’s landscape and infrastructure. Constructed from mixed plastic sheeting, reclaimed bicycle parts, and steel, this windsock sculpture was sewn from scrap materials and mounted to a custom structure co-designed with Rémi Poirier, adapting a reclaimed bicycle wheel into a multi-directional spinning frame.
Permanent installation at Ferme Granite 1981’s sculpture garden since July 2025.
