Inflatables 101 is an educational workshop designed by Studio Rat that explores the experiential and impermanent qualities of inflatable architecture in relation to plastics and circular design thinking. During this hands-on workshop experience participants are led through the step-by-step process of making a 20’ inflatable bubble by hand using a mix of reclaimed plastic sheeting and plastic bags.
Inflatables 101 was most recently presented in collaboration with The Bentway in Toronto as part of their Summer 2023 programming.
