Workshop.
Studio Rat invited the public to join them in a community microplastic survey to conclude their March 2022 Winter Island Residency. Following survey protocol established by CLEAR Labs, the group sifted through sand samples on Wards Beach to get a first hand understanding of the pervasiveness of microplastics in our landscape. This hands-on workshop explores the perceived disposability of plastic and its irreversible binding with our landscape and waterways.
