Assembly is a collaborative project based on the mixing of contradictory music genres, and stylings. To support this project, Studio Rat fabricated a series of inflated sets which served as a common stylistic thread throughout the four-part music video series. This project was an opportunity to experiment with different pneumatic compositions and materials including various colours of LDPE sheeting and mylar. Each piece presents its own qualities of light, texture, transparency and beauty.
